About Me

I've spent over two decades refusing to choose between technical and creative paths. Instead, I've built a career at their intersection – starting as a TV commercial editor in regional Australia, then working in education tech, youth media, and advertising before founding Lexer.

As Lexer's CTO for 16 years, I built data platforms now used by major retailers globally, growing from a solo operation to 170 people across five countries. Throughout this journey, I've maintained my commitment to bringing creative thinking to technical challenges and technical thinking to creative ones.

What began as a social media monitoring tool before the term was widely recognized evolved into a comprehensive customer data platform under my technical leadership. This journey involved navigating complex regulatory environments like GDPR, raising capital through multiple rounds with significant investors, and scaling operations across Australia, America, and Asia.

Throughout this growth, I maintained a hands-on approach to product development while building high-performance technical teams. Lexer's success in serving major brands like Optus, BMW, Westpac, ANZ, and SingTel provided me with firsthand experience addressing the specific needs and expectations of Western enterprise clients.

The Personal Side

Beyond the code and creative frameworks, I'm a curious soul who finds joy in the intersection of technology and everyday life. My husband Corey and I call Melbourne home, having moved from Sydney after my early years in Wollongong. We share a passion for exploring new cities, hitting dance floors, and occasionally sipping mai tais on far-flung beaches. Our two French bulldogs, Susan and Elton, keep us grounded between adventures.
